Resumen:

This research focuses implementing communicative and task-based activities integrating information and communication technologies and online tools in a group of EFL B1-level students enrolled in distance learning courses in a Language Institute in Mexico, through observation, interviews, and surveys, data was gathered. This information helped design a lesson plan which would help improve learners' engagement and participation.
